Intellectual property

The contents of this website — including texts, graphics, logos, images, and the underlying technology descriptions — are the property of EcoAida S.r.l. or are used under licence, and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. The C-dots technology is protected by granted Italian and European patents, with international protection underway. No content may be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written authorisation.

2. What data we collect

We only collect personal data that you voluntarily provide to us through the contact form on this website: your name, email address, and the content of your message (including subject, if provided). We do not use cookies to track you, and we do not currently use any website analytics or advertising tools. We do not collect any personal data automatically through your use of this website beyond what is described in our Cookie Policy.

3. Why we collect it (purpose and legal basis)

We process this data solely to respond to your inquiry and to communicate with you about a potential business relationship. The legal basis for this processing is your consent, given by voluntarily submitting the form, and/or our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries addressed to us (Article 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR).

4. How we store and process it

Form submissions are processed through Formspree, a third-party service provider based in the United States, which delivers your message to our email inbox. Formspree acts as a data processor on our behalf, under a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with EcoAida governing the transfer and processing of this data outside the EU.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing purposes.

5. How long we keep it

We retain your data for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, after which it is deleted or anonymized, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction or deletion of your data; object to or restrict our processing of your data; request portability of your data; and withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@ecoaida.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali) if you believe your data protection rights have been violated.

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling based on your personal data.
